Tonnam Home Stay is based on three concepts…

Eco friendly – the name tonnam means ‘the source’.
A house situated on a river bank is a house that lives and develops in harmony with nature.  We are conscious water is the source of life and we help preserve it.

Local exchange – the river is a major source of commerce.
Tonnam is proud to be a part of the local economy.  We support the local markets and employ staff from the local mountain villages.

Authenticity – the river is a source of culture and tradition.
At Tonnam we provide western comforts while preserving the charm of traditional Thai style living.

Yul is a Thai National who is fluent in English and French. He studied and worked in France for more than 20 years.  He plays a variety of sports as an amateur and as a professional, is a great cook and loves to share his knowledge of Thailand and northern Thai traditions and culture.
